During the month of July (July 1 - 31), West Michigan Community Bank is having a free month-long shred event at all of our branches. This is an opportunity to safely and securely destroy personal documents that you would not want an identity thief to get their hands on.
Bring in up to 6 medium-sized boxes to any of our seven locations.

- Canceled and voided checks
- Credit and charge card bills, carbon copies, summaries and receipts
- Credit reports and histories
- Credit Cards (Expired)
- Documents relating to investments
- Investment, stock and property transactions
- Pre-approved credit card applications
- Items with a signature
- Documents containing passwords or PIN numbers
- Documents containing names, addresses, phone numbers or e-mail addresses
- Expired Driver’s licenses or items with a driver’s license number
- Employee pay stubs
- Employment records
- Expired passports and visas identification cards/badges
- Papers with a Social Security number
- Insurance Information
